Rest in Peace sister and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your honor.
I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, but tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.

Serving our country asks us to be in places we never expected, at least that is what I found to be true. As Marine to Soldier, I say well done, you have shown the best of what our country has to offer. I'm sorry you had to sacrifice your life and my sympathies are with your parents and your company. End of watch, Soldier. Semper Fi.

Heavenly Father, I come before You today grieved in heart over the divisions in our country, the United States of America. I grieve for every life lost to violence, regardless of color or creed. And I especially grieve this day over the senseless deaths of America’s Peace Officers whose sworn duty is to protect us from harm. Please grant comfort and hope to their families. I know from the Holy Scriptures in Romans 13:3-4 (TLB) that America’s Peace Officers have a sacred task, to enforce laws that protect the innocent and punish the guilty.
“For the policeman does not frighten people who are doing right; but those doing evil will always fear him. So if you don’t want to be afraid, keep the laws and you will get along well. The policeman is sent by God to help you. But if you are doing something wrong, of course you should be afraid, for he will have you punished. He is sent by God for that very purpose.” [Romans 13:3-4 (TLB)]
I pray that You will protect them as they serve us. Give them wisdom, discernment, and a deep desire to serve You. Please surround every Peace Officer in our nation, the United States of America, with battalions of warring angels, under the command of Michael the Archangel, the Defender and Protector Against Evil, to protect them from harm. I stand together in the powerful and mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ against every work of Satan intended to inflict injury and death on our Protectors. May Satan’s power be thwarted, in Your mighty and holy name, and his plans exposed by Your Light.
Lord Jesus, I know that Your word teaches us that in You there is neither Jew nor Greek, neither slave nor free, neither male nor female. All superficial distinctions between us have been abolished by Your sacrifice on the cross. By Your grace and power, lead us into a new day of racial harmony in our country, a day in which Your name is again lifted high in our nation, the United States of America, and the rule of law is honored by all. Please grant us spiritual, political, and cultural leaders who will speak to us with Your wisdom and Your truth. Please renew us in spirit, mind, and heart that we may once again be “One Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”.
Finally, O Lord, if You are willing, have Your Warrior Servant, Michael the Archangel, the Defender and Protector Against Evil, who successfully defeated Satan and his fallen angels in heavenly battle because of his unwavering faith and courage, welcome America’s Fallen Peace Officers into Your Eternal Light and comfort their loved ones and all those left behind who mourn. In the mighty and holy Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by Your Power, Authority, and Sacrificial Blood, I pray. Amen.
Please find Comfort, Support, and Hope from the following Scripture Verses found in The Law Enforcement Officer’s Christian Standard Bible:
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord asking: Who will I send? Who will go for us? I said: Here I am. Send me.” (Isaiah 6:8),
[Jesus taught]: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons [children] of God.” (Matthew 5:9),
[Jesus taught]: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4),
[Jesus taught]: “No one has greater love than this: to lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13),
“Even when I go through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff – they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4),
“Jesus said to her [Martha], “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me, even if he dies, will live.” (John 11:25), and
“Hate evil and love good; establish justice at the city gate.” (Amos 5:15a).
