Miko
K9 Miko died after falling over a 30-foot high overpass at Kino Parkway and Aviation Parkway while chasing a carjacker.
Miko was about to apprehend the suspect when the man jumped from the overpass, with K9 Miko jumping after him. The suspect was able to continue fleeing, but K9 Miko suffered a broken back and leg. The injuries were so severe that Miko had to be euthanized.
