K9 Harry succumbed to injuries sustained when his handler's patrol car crashed the previous night while responding to assist deputies in Cass County.
The patrol car went off the roadway along a curve on Lark Avenue. His handler suffered minor injuries.
K9 Harry had served with the Audubon County Sheriff's Office for five years.
