K9 Uno was killed in a vehicle crash on Adams Street, just north of Evans Street, in Peoria.
His handler was en route to assist another officer on a traffic stop when another vehicle veered into his lane and struck the patrol car. K9 Uno, who was in a cage inside the patrol car, suffered fatal injuries.
