K9 Zena died of heatstroke while inside of her handler's patrol car at the Eastern Florida State College Law Enforcement Academy in Melbourne, Florida.
Zena's handler found her unresponsive when he went to check on her during a break in training.
K9 Zena had served with the Cocoa Police Department for 10 months.
