Damon
K9 Damon died after falling from the roof of the Boise Cascade envelope factory at 72 Cascade Place while searching it for burglary suspects.
Officers had arrested one man after responding to the scene to investigate a burglary alarm. K9 Damon and his handler were searching the rest of the building when Damon inadvertently jumped over the edge of the roof.
K9 Damon had served with the Rochester Police Department for four years.
