K9 Deebo died of complications from swallowing a reward during a demonstration at the F. D. Roosevelt State Park at 2970 GA- 190 in Pine Mountain.
A few days after the demonstration, K9 Deebo became ill. He had multiple surgeries to unblock his bowel passages, but he developed sepsis, and his kidneys failed.
K9 Deebo had served with the Harris County Sheriff's Office for four years.
