K9 Fredy was killed when his handler's car was involved in a crash at the intersection of S John Young Parkway and Presidents Drive in Orlando.
K9 Fredy was a certified narcotics detection canine and had served with the Orange County Sheriff's Office for one year. He had discovered hundreds of pounds of illegal narcotics during his short career.
