K9 Broko was shot and killed as troopers attempted to serve a felony arrest warrant and execute a search warrant at a home on Mechanic Street in Stonington, Connecticut.
A subject in the residence opened fire on officers and killed K9 Broko. Officers returned fire and killed the subject.
K9 Broko had served with the Connecticut State Police for four years.
