K9 Dolar succumbed to heatstroke during a weekly K9 Training.
When his partner went back to the patrol vehicle around 12:45 p.m., the air conditioner was not working. Despite life-saving measures, K9 Dolar died at the Rose Rock Animal Hospital.
K9 Dolar had served with the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office for four years.
