K9 Dano succumbed to heat-related injuries after training on May 16, 2024.
While training at the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office - North Precinct at 2310 Keith Bridge Road in Cumming, K9 Dano started to show signs of distress. His handler transported him to Creekside Animal Hospital, where he was stabilized. Despite treatment at All Pets Emergency and Referral and Blue Pearl Pet Hospital, K9 Dano passed away on May 18, 2024.
K9 Dano had served with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office for five months.
