Glenn A. Phillips

Border Patrol Agent Glenn Phillips was killed in an automobile crash in the 3000 block of Tijuana Street while patrolling the border fence in San Ysidro, California.

He was driving with his lights off along the fence at about 9:40 pm when his Jeep struck the back of a parked truck and trailer. Other agents found the wreckage about 20 minutes later.

Agent Phillips had served with the United States Border Patrol for 13 months. He was survived by his wife.

Father God, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy. Our Brother-In-Blue, Border Patrol Agent Glenn A. Phillips, of the United States Border Patrol, was suddenly and violently taken from us in a traffic collision in the Line-of-Duty. Come swiftly to his aid, have mercy on him, and comfort his family, friends, and comrades by the power and protection of the Cross. I ask this through the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by His Authority, I pray. Amen.
