Game Warden Louis Sizemore was shot and killed with his own gun while on patrol.
He was found next to his patrol car, suffering a gunshot wound to the head and muttering the same phrase over and over. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his wound.
No suspects were ever identified or charged.
Game Warden Sizemore was survived by his wife, daughter, and mother.
