Sergeant Saul Starrett was electrocuted after responding to a call of a power line down. During the course of safeguarding the area, a gust of wind blew the wire onto the sergeant, killing him.
Sergeant Starrett served with the New York City Police Department for 13 years and was assigned to the 50th Precinct in the Bronx.
