Happy Heavenly Birthday, Pawpaw

Even though I never got to meet you here in this physical world, I’ve always felt your presence in my life. I know you’re still by my side spiritually, guiding me when I need strength and reminding me who I am.

I miss you more than words can explain. Sometimes I think about how different life might be if you were still here — the advice you’d give, the lessons you’d teach, the footsteps I would proudly follow. I wish you could see everything I’m working toward and everything I hope to accomplish.

There are moments when I wonder why you were taken from us the way you were. But I also know that God calls us to forgive, and in my heart, I choose forgiveness. I trust that you’re at peace and watching over all of us — especially Maw Maw.

Thank you for raising a great man in your son, who is teaching me how to be a man just like you would have. Your legacy lives on through him… and through me.

I love you so much, Pawpaw. I pray that one day you’ll visit me in my dreams so I can finally meet you and talk with you. Until then, I’ll keep living in a way that would make you proud.

Forever your grandson,
Ferman
