View all 42 ReflectionsMy best friend and Mentor in the entirety of my USAF career. The most patient, brilliant, conscientious, reflective and persistent human being I've ever met in my life.
If I could ever aspire to be like anyone I've ever known besides myself, it would be Mike far-and-away.
His was one of the greatest losses I've ever experienced, if only because of the sheer substance of his existence.
Even now it's remarkable to me that I had such an incredible friendship within 3 all-too-brief years.
Love Always to Nan, Matteo & Sonja.
