Geoffrey W. G. Stone

Police Officer Geoffrey Stone was killed in a motorcycle crash when he collided with a deer on Valleydale Road. He was then struck by two oncoming vehicles.

Officer Stone was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Persian Gulf War and had served with the Vestavia Hills Police Department for 15 years. He is survived by his wife and five children.

On today the 17th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just for your Community but for our Country as well when you served with the U.S. Air Force during the 1991 Persian Gulf War.
