Every Christmas Eve I post a written memorial of your life and service in a support group I run for the spouses and fiancees of fallen law enforcement officers (and a few firefighters too) called Blue_Wives_Matter which is also the name of my 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your wife Sarah has been a member of our support group since it began several years ago. I came on odmp to look for your badge number and saw that no one had posted to you since 2019 which made me sad.

I thought I would post a small update on your wife and kids. Sarah works a lot lol but always makes time for the boys and their extracurricular activities aka their sports! Josh especially is skilled at football and last we spoke Eric was enjoying travel baseball. Sarah is also involved and getting support (as well as offering support) through C.O.P.S. You would be so proud of your family.

Thank you for your service and for the ultimate sacrifice you made. It is my mission that you and other officers like you who have passed away, not just in the line of duty but of any reason, are never forgotten.
