Deputy Sheriff Frank Bordonaro suffered a fatal heart attack shortly after finishing a shift involving several high stress calls including a fatal vehicle crash and a house fire.
He had returned home following his shift where he collapsed several hours later.
Deputy Bordonaro had served with the Genesee County Sheriff's Office for 19 years. He is survived by his wife and two children.
