Almost four years later, our lives are still forever changed. So much of who we are today is because of you and the sacrifice you—and your family—made. Derek and I talk about you often, and you’re never far from our thoughts. Your memory and your service will stay alive in us for as long as we’re here.
We hope you would be proud. It’s an honor to carry your name forward and to share the story of the hero you were. Your forty years of dedicated service, the husband and father you were—these are the things that defined your life, and they will never be forgotten.
