Police Officer Brent Lee Hall suffered cardiac arrest while confronting burglary suspects on April 13.

While working an authorized, off-duty security assignment at a local business, Officer Hall confronted suspects attempting to break into a vending machine on the property. During the arrest, Officer Hall collapsed, and although CPR was performed, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at a local hospital.

Officer Hall had served with the Pioneer Village Police Department for two years. Survivors include his sister.
