Trooper Vincent Dunn succumbed to injuries he received when his vehicle crashed and ran off the road on Route 22 in Patterson, New York.

He was transported to Dansbury Hospital, where he died two days later.

Trooper Dunn had served with the New York State Police for three years. He was survived by his mother, father, three brothers, and three sisters. Two of his brothers served with the New Rochelle Police Department.
