Patrolman Rocky Graziano was killed when his police motorcycle was struck by a vehicle on Route 3 at 6 pm.
The vehicle that struck him was driving next to his motorcycle and then moved into his lane. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Patrolman Graziano was a Massachusetts National Guard veteran who had served with the Nashua Police Department for three years and previously served with the Middlesex County Police Department and the Durham Police Department, where he had been the acting Police Chief for nine months. He was survived by his wife and three children.
