Deputy Sheriff Archie K. Jacobs

Archie's family lived across the street from me in Tempe, AZ. We played together many times along with the rest of the kids on our street. It was the mid-60s and the Beatles were huge. Archie had a great stereo and the records, so we were there a lot. We made a drum set out of Basin Robins 31 Flavors containers, cut out and painted some fancy guitars out of some wood we found, and we entertained ourselves playing and singing along with the Beatles! We were awesome! Sadly, Today was Arthur Jacobs funeral, Archie's father. Art passed away Nov 20, 2023. He was a good man and I know he missed Archie every single day. I enjoyed remembering my friend this week, and the Jacobs family.
