John Linklater was my Great Grandfather and his story lives on today. I live in Northern Mn and blessed to be able to walk in areas he may have walked. I am so blessed to listen to others speak of him, blessed to see where he lived, canoed, and shared his knowledge with so many. I feel his spirit here in the north. I have learned to feel & hear the music of our ancestors when I stop & listen to the trees, waters, and all that is nature in our great Northern Minnesota forests! Thank you Great Grandfather Linklater and Great Grandmother Tchi-Ki-Wis Linklater. Your blood runs through my veins carrying you both forward. Thank you all for your kind words.
