Trooper C. B. Martin

I vividly recall growing up in Middle Tennessee in small towns in the counties patrolled by Trooper Martin. Almost every Sunday my dad took us all out for lunch at a little local diner called Alma's Drive-In. Trooper Martin would almost always be there taking his mid-day meal break. I remember being enthralled by him, all the hardware on his uniform, the shiny boots and the big revolver! I almost worshiped the man, and would sometimes feel overwhelmed if he happened to speak to me! Few things had impacted my life the way his death did, when it occurred. Rest in Peace, Trooper.
