Sweetheart,
Eight years ago today I lost you, the love of my life. The pain is still so deep inside of me. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you and feel you.

Forgive me for missing the anniversary of your E.O.W., but I felt as though I could not continue to read about so many tragedies. I now realize the visit each day to leave a word of encouragement and hope to the loved ones of others, helps me to remember that I am not alone with my pain and heartbreak. So may I say to your friends and loved ones that my thoughts and prayers are with them now and always. Continue to keep watch over them and those still out on patrol and may they know you will never be forgotten.

Sweetheart,
I cant believe we are spending another Christmas without you here. There isn't a day that has gone by without us missing you.
I still have images of you and Monique sitting in the back of your truck wrapping Christmas gifts. And the special Christmas we spent. I can almost here the giggling and laughing.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I will aways love you, DJ

We think about you often, but more lately. We know you helped bring Derel home safely from Iraq. Thank you. Now as Derek begins his tour in Iraq we ask you to please watch over him. You always looked after them as kids in LaGrange and we find comfort in being able to ask you to please do it again! We believe that you have brought DJ closer to us again. It is far less traveling to visit! We miss you...we will see you again.

A.J.,
It has been a long while since 01-08-2002 and I still remember that day as if it were yesterday. I will always remember you and the values you held. I will always remember the first day we met, the day we were hired by BCSO. You are missed by everyone and you have made us better people. Thank you for watching over us all during our journey through life.

I thought I would stop in and look over your reflections and leave you a note. I was at the store today, and looked up and thought I saw you turning the corner in the store. I caught myself trying to catch up to you, turning the corner and not seeing anyone. I am sure it was your way of telling me to stop in and say HI.

Went to the LaGrange Lion's festival this weekend, watched the fireworks. The band caught me off guard when they played "Knocking on Heavens Door". Made me think of you & the funeral..
