It's hard to believe it's been 20yrs bruddah. I can still see you as if it were yesterday. Cracking up our entire class after we were relegated to the nasty basement room at the Academy. Hell Week when you and Kennedy boxed. Our first arrest on 14 Pct. together after getting off coaching.
I miss you.

Bryan,
I miss you Brother. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you. I was honored to write your tribute for this year's CPD Memorial. I had to pause to wipe away the tears thinking about the impact you had on so many lives, especially mine. I can't wait to see you again in heaven. I pray often for your family. I am thankful that God put you in my life path. Love you Hurst! -Romans 8:28

Officer Hurst, you are not forgotten!

Your service had a huge impact on this community, and you sacrificed everything to protect us. Your actions on your last watch were nothing short of heroic and really speak to your character. I only met you the one time, but I could tell you were a quality person and a good officer.

Although you are gone, #2057 will never be forgotten!

God bless you and your family.
