Reflections for Sergeant Robert Craig Douglas
Our hearts are with you at this troubled time. We are so sorry for your loss. I never met Sgt. Douglas, but I met you and Bobby at a birthday party one time. I love to hear the stories about Robert from the friends who knew him. I pray that you will feel the love and support of those around you and that you will feel God's arms around you lifting you up during this time.

Sgt Douglas,
I have missed your smile and laugh for sometime. You were the best district partner anyone could ask for when I was a brand new officer 11 years ago. I was riding with Sgt Tunnel. I could always count on you to give me little hints to make my training easier. I regret never thanking you for all of that help. I thanking you now. You made quite the impression on me as a young man and new officer. I never heard you talk badly about the Department or anyone. No matter what happened. I have tried my best to do the same. You were the happiest man I've ever known. Always with a smile on you face. I trust in God that everything happens for a reason, but sometimes things are hard to understand and swallow. Your wife and son no doubt now have a special angel looking after them. I'll consider you another angel out there looking after me also. Take care brother until we meet again.

Robert, We will miss you brother. You fought a great fight and certainly are our hero. May God comfort your family and all your brothers and sisters for we know you are in a far better place than we are.
