My thoughts & prayers go out for Officer Bastock's family & his fellow officers. If it is any consolation, I have suffered from DVT's for years in my legs and have been on coumadin/warfarin. I have also had a Greenfield-filter installed to keep blood clot's from traveling to my heart, lungs or brain if they would happen to break free.
RIP Officer Bastock.
