There is no greater thing a man can do then to give his life for another. You have done this for 40 years but today you have gone to be with God. My sincere condolences go to the family of Master Trooper J. A. Walker. Although I am no longer with the Department, I cherish the memories and brotherly connections I made while a Virginia State Trooper. Only those who serve can truly appreciate the dedication, personal sacrifice, and work ethic required for this profession. Doing the job for over 40 years is an apocolyptic feat. Master Trooper Walker's contribution to public safety is one I truly admire. May he rest in peace. May his family and loved ones find the strength to carry on his legacy. GOD now has another servant by his side. Rest well Trooper Walker. We will meet again.
