I & my family are so sorry to hear of Adam's passing.
Mr. Cardell's L. Dobbins's( RET. LE ) reflection was so moving
& honest( We'll use ti too encourage our Officers) ... Sometimes amist the problems of life , we forget the Purpose for our children , spouses, parents ect. , to wear the Badge ... So many sorrows they see & endure, so much horror ... the worst evil in man & yet they engage it's beauty as well , rescueing a child from a pedophile, abuse, a fire ... helping a woman bring a child into the world , & it being named after him , doing many dangerous deeds to be a Hero ... raising money for charities, Taking part in the Honor Guard for Vets Day ... Supporting Soldiers of war ... holding a woman in your arms, who has just been raped ... telling her it's gonna be okay , "I 'll catch him !!!"And you do ...
You do so much good ... don't forget that on the hard days, the sad days, the tiring days.
We thank you Adam for your unselfih service.
RIP Adam Son of Valor, with Honor.
Gone from Our Arms ... Forever in Our Hearts ...

My heart goes out to Officer Conrad's family, loved ones, The Marion County Sheriff's Office and community. The horrific news of the death of Officer Conrad brought me to tears. The death of Officer Conrad is such a tragedy he is so young and has been an Officer for such a short time my heart breaks. This young man is a true hero by all means. He made a choice at such a young age to dedicate his life to his community and country in such turbulent times when it may not be the popular choice. God Bless this true hero you will NEVER be forgotten. May your family and friends know a family in Northern California mourns with you and salutes you.
