Mr. Norman,
Thank you for your service both to your town and to your state and union. You and my ancestors were members of the 101st Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. Plus your sister, Louisa, joined the Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic to honor you. Rest in Peace, Mr. Norman.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 139th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

Constable Norman, you showed yourself to be a true hero. It's fitting and proper that you should be recognized on this wonderful website for all you did for your nation and for the people of Tarentum Borough.
God Bless you, Brother and may your eternal rest be ever peaceful.
