Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Charles Clifton Monaghan
My mother never got the chance to know her grandfather. In October 2024, through my genealogy research, I learned that Charles was a deputy sheriff who died in the line of duty. That discovery was profoundly meaningful. It is an honor to see his service recognized and memorialized here.

I have the great honor of researching your case and writing the first reflection on your memorial. May your service and sacrifice never be forgotten.
