That day of may 19,1979, Officer Cook, was going to be your first weekend off instead it was very somber, terrible and awful day for your family, comrades, Dade County and the entire police nation as you were given a final Inspector's funeral for your cherished and loyal heroic actions three days earlier. Such a humble young man girded in heart and soul, the strength of a tiger whose tenacity, integrity and dignity matched your humbly blessed esteem. Never forgotten for outstanding and unselfish and unwavering character the class of your commitments and timely convictions of everything in the words of truth, trust and ferocity and may your angelic spirit rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero.
