Integrity, dignity, honesty and heroic character are not be be embarrassed nor trampled upon for our very society revolves and rotates upon the goodwill, hope and safety of all who publicly serve communities where their legacies will forevermore shine brightly long after they have retired. And that is the very operative word "retire." Officer Cook, a man, a gentleman of your importance, wisdom, vision and virtue for your versatility and commitment to everything truthful and trustworthy you sir should have been humbly allowed to retire but a violent man took your life, a young life his too was too was young but very nefarious and heinousness for which transpired that day of May 16,1979 in Liberty City and to your fellow officers: Keith DiGenova and Robert Edgerton, your partner thankfully, Reserve Officer Scott Lincoln was unharmed. The sacrifice you made demonstrated your total and tactical ability and capably all within the scopes of responsibility from a cherished warrior whose angel heart, soul and spirit reside now and forever in eternity where you walk your perfect beat looking down upon your family, esteemed and beloved, colleagues loyal and efficient and friends all humbled by a man whose devotion and grace shown passionately when the chips were down. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero. Badge#1664 was total accountability, reliability, reverence and genuine respect, diligance and vigilance all applied permanently to create the rays of security, safety and serenity. You'll continue to receive and to reap God blessings upon you, Officer Cook and always for your beloved and beautiful family members. I'm glad I met Gina and Justin as well as Keith DiGenova. Like yourself a survivor hero and the cream of class, desire and decency just as you acted your whole life and watch.
