Without any shadow of doubt so too was your life and public service career that ended all too soon because of an evil man who lacked any sort of honesty, dignity and integrity. They words were your solemn affirmation to serve and to protect the goodwill, faith and serenity of all Dade County and mankind from any threats and any violence. You placed yourself in peril to shield us from such wanton happenings. Character, true trust and firmly planted commitments and convictions that persevered and carried you down those paths and trails of justice done properly. Such a loyal, esteemed and most treasured gentleman forevermore adored and always loved by your whole family and colleagues who worked with you in your quests to curb crime and to provide the much needed peace and liberty for all to pursue their lives as seen fit.
