Officer Enright,
On today, the 50th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice-not just as a Law Enforcement Officer but four Country as well when you served with the U.S. Army. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Heavenly Father, I come before You today grieved in heart over the divisions in our country; the United States of America. I grieve for every life lost to violence, regardless of color or creed. And I especially grieve this day over the senseless deaths of America’s Peace Officers whose sworn duty is to protect us from harm. Please grant comfort and hope to their families. I know from the Holy Scriptures in Romans 13 that Peace Officers have a sacred task, to enforce laws that protect the innocent and punish the guilty. I pray that You will protect them as they serve us. Give them wisdom, discernment, and a deep desire to serve You. Please surround every Peace Officer in our nation, the United States of America, with battalions of warring angels to protect them from harm. I stand in the powerful and mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ against every work of Satan intended to inflict injury and death on our Protectors. May Satan’s power be thwarted, in Your mighty and holy name, and his plans exposed by Your Light. In the mighty and holy name of the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior, our Redeemer, and the Mediator between us, Heavenly Father, in prayer, and by His authority, I pray! Amen.
Please find Encouragement, Comfort, Support, and Hope from God's Word:
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.”
[Matthew 5:9 ESV];
"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." [Psalm 23:4 ESV];
"Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends."
[John 15:13 ESV];
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." [Matthew 5:4 ESV];
"And he [Jesus] said to him, "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise." [Luke 23:43 ESV], and;
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." [John 3:16 ESV].

Honoring your contribution to mankind and reflecting on this 43rd year since you left this earth. I still visit the cemetery in Chatsworth often, and leave a sprig of vegetation from the hills above The Valley where we often hunted with my father.

Today is your birthday. Remembering all the good times we had growing up in the Valley in the 60s. Later you joined me on the C.H.P. and we patrolled together, again in the Valley.

Tomorrow would have been your 72nd birthday; the 27th of August. Your badge #, 7857, totaled 27. You died on the 27th of June. Whenever I see that # over the years since it brings back a flood of memories, good and not good. I will visit the cemetery in Chatsworth tomorrow where you rest in peace with several L.A.P.D. nearby. Thank you for your service, Fred. Your brother-in-law.

It was 41 years ago today that you left this earth. I think of you often; visit the cemetery in Chatsworth on my way to visit family in Ventura County. The "Valley" has changed a lot since the 60s when we used to hunt in the hills above Chatsworth. The county area is now L.A. city.

As 2015 comes to a close today I recall all the good times we had over the years. I still visit the cemetery fairly often and rest quietly under the big oak tree nearby. Several L.A.P.D. officers are near you. I will never forget you. You were my best friend both on and off the job.

Hi Fred ... Today you would have been 71 years old, and long-retired, as am I. My CHP career spanned 32 years; yours a short 4. There were so many adventures ahead of us, and I am so sad we did not enjoy them together. I will continue to keep your spirit alive. You are always in my thoughts. Your loving brother-in-law and West Valley patrol partner.

Hi Fred. It is 40-years ago today that you departed this earth. I think about you often and all the good times we had. Just a few: the time you flew over Shady Lane Ranch and dropped my Mom's favorite candy bar to her while she waved in the back yard. The ride-a-long over the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge. The great rabbit and quail hunting in the hills above Chatsworth. I visit the cemetery often where your spirit is with several other officers nearby.
