Yours, Officer Cook, was taken during a domestic dispute as you voluntarily answered a call your final one on this earth and endeavored to create a peaceful resolution if only Mr. Pearsall had dropped his weapon and listened to you and your colleagues and friends that fateful afternoon of May 16,1979. Officer DiGenova and Officer Edgerton were assigned that essential mission to restore calm you came with your last partner, Reserve Officer Scott Lincoln. You'll forever be remembered and saluted for being an angelic hero.
